As AMMW prepares to open its doors once again, we have taken many COVID precautions and will implement new processes and procedures, here’s what you can expect to see:
- Hand sanitizer will be available in the waiting room and the treatment room.
- I will be wearing a mask and safety glasses during your session.
- A daily report on my temperature, any symptoms (allergies for example), and a number of contacts outside my family/clients in the last 7 days.
- A basket for your clothes – will be disinfected between each client visit.
- A pillowcase will be used as a face cradle liner should you want to remove your mask while face down; the pillowcase will help trap respiratory droplets.
- Linens and blankets will be replaced after each client visit and washed.
- A HEPA filter will be used during the entire session.
You can help the process by:
- Wearing your mask to the office and during treatment.
- Letting me take your temperature with a non-contact device when you first arrive.
- Filling out a health form for each visit
-
Rescheduling your appointment if you have any concerns about your health status or who you may have been in contact with. Prior to Covid-19, I took pride in the detailed cleaning procedure I employed for linens, the table, and the room. This process has been modified to include:
- Using EPA-approved Covid-19 anti-viral disinfectants. These disinfectants will be applied and allowed to air-dry as required by EPA.
- Linens will be collected/removed and washed daily. Clean linens will be brought back to the clinic in a clean, disposable bag.
- I will be disinfecting the table, face cradle, table legs, doorknobs, clothes basket, and flat surfaces between each session.
- I put on a clean face mask and a clean shirt for each client.
- I have been and will continue to wash my hands before and after each client visit.
